Type of Wrap Finishes
What is car wrap?
Car wrapping is a process in which a vehicle's exterior is covered with a vinyl wrap. The wrap is applied to the vehicle's body panels and is intended to be temporary, lasting for a few years before it needs to be replaced. Some people choose to wrap their cars for aesthetic reasons, while others do it to protect their vehicle's paint job or to make it more noticeable for advertising purposes.
Wrap or Paint
Car wrapping and traditional paint jobs are two methods that can be used to change the appearance of a vehicle. Car wrapping involves covering the car's exterior surfaces with a thin, flexible vinyl film that is adhered to the car's surface, while traditional paint jobs involve sanding and priming the car's surface and applying multiple layers of paint. Car wrapping is generally more cheaper than traditional paint and offers a greater level of customization. Additionally, car wraps can be easily removed without damaging the car's original paint job, while traditional paint jobs are permanent.
